Rise Above the Storm and You Will Find the Sunshine.
September 6th, we came home to nothing, we lost everything in this storm. By the time we got back into Houston all our furniture was molded and wet, we received about 3 feet of water in our home. When we left on vacation we had no idea a Storm was coming, Hurricane Harvey!! What was a nice relaxing Vacation turned in to a Nightmare. I was not the only victim in this storm, my whole Neighborhood was hit. Thank God for my church and my children who are tiring to put our lives back together. I am just numb. Everything inside our home was destroyed, lost, gone. Thank God I have my animals who are safe, my children and their children who are safe. So here I go again starting all over, (and at 60 its just so hard} we filed with FEMA cause my Renters insurance won't cover this, the Owner of the home had no Flood insurance either. But this storm was so bad, and so many people lost everything, we won't get enough to start over. So looking for another home too. My job was flooded to and hoping I have someplace to go back to soon.
