Dirty rotten secrets,you see then everywhere--- secrets so dirty you watch everything you say and share---- A secret your told if you tell everything will change---So you live your life silent,hurt,knowing what's happening is weird and strange.---- Years go by,the secret well kept,denying even to yourself it ever happened.--- A wife and mother,wondering how to really go on, the brain can't take it anymore, it tears and you start cracken.---- secrets,they have to be told, you have no choice anymore,So the tears,words and wonderment of what your doing is right,yet out the words tumble and pour.---- Did there have to be a secret to carry? Did anyone really care? Could'nt it just have been told without there being a scare?---- Now a lifetime of pain and torment, not a day to be totally content.---- Dirty rotten secrets,all they cause is pain and sorrow,---Hoping for a better tomorrow. ------- by Alyson Carr This is the words to the paper in the blingee... As to your choice of visual imagery, the dark colors, almost black and white, sing their own song! Your bold framing and the crypt with "Nevermore" says it all, especially when accompanied by this excellent image for such emotional thoughts and sorrows! Wonderfully rich my friend, and your artistry in both worlds is simply fantastic and so well done! Gothic potential has a life of it's own when the need is there to be expressed and shared! Very touching!

Wow Alyson! I read your lovely thoughts and poetry put to paper! They are very telling and personal, and obviously they carry very personal sentiments and quite likely experiences that accompany them. It is very tender Alyson. Just know that such things as this are a commonality with so many, that you are not alone! Your imagery both with words and image are very rich in the conveyance of the messages from the depths of the heart and soul! The Gothic element in this speaks volumes of the heart!!
